The Davis Instruments 6250 Vantage Vue Wireless Weather Station combines legendary accuracy and durability in a self-contained, easy-to- install system! It is easy to set up and easy to use. This weather station includes a sleek but tough outdoor sensor array and a distinctive LCD console. Its unique Weather Center function provides additional information on each weather variable. It has frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio technology, wireless transmission up to 1,000 feet (300 m), weather updates every 2 ½ seconds, a glow-in-the-dark user friendly keypad and on-screen data graphing.
Use this weather station with Vantage Pro 2 or for standalone applications such as home weather watching and Gardening, Schools and Universities, Marinas and Vacation Homes and Fire Fighting and other emergency response situations. With Vantage Vue’s new Weather Center feature and comparative weather data the station provides, you can instantly become a neighborhood meteorologist. Arm yourself with detailed information that is specific to the ‘microclimate’ in your own back yard. Weather Center gives you daily highs and lows, temperature changes by the hour, barometric changes and astronomical data such as meteor showers. Feature-packed wireless weather station
Sets up in minutes and starts sending data wirelessly to your console anywhere in your home, school or business. See current weather conditions including indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, dew point and rainfall. You’ll also get weather forecast icons, moon phase, sunrise/sunset times, graphing of weather trends, alarms and more. Vantage Vue also boasts the innovative Weather Center button that displays additional data on weather variables for today and over the last 25 days.
Integrated Sensor Suite
The sleekly designed Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) is cyclic corrosion tested to simulate harsh environments such as heat, humidity and seaside conditions. In addition, Vantage Vue’s outdoor sensor electronics are sealed for added protection from the elements. Sensors are energized by a solar panel and stored energy at night, making it an ideal product or gift for the “green” consumer.
Vantage Vue 6250 is radio- compatible with Vantage Pro 2 stations so you can mix and match most components. This station also works with optional Weather Link weather software, allowing you to transfer weather data to a PC for additional analysis and graphing.
