This means the case is fully watertight in 1.0m of water for 1 hour. As a result the case is also 100% dustproof. A unique double seal gives ultimate protection against water entry.

Touch screen protection
You need to protect your touch screen when using it outdoors: sand, salt, mud and snow are no good for your beautiful iPad. The screen protector is super clear and super sensitive. Touch screen inputs are quick and intuitive. Image and text clarity are superb, even in bright sunlight. It also has a hydrophobic surface that makes water run off quickly.
Sound
The air void in the rear of case for is carefully designed to produce excellent sound transmission. Volume and clarity of music and voice is outstanding. Rear seal locking frame
Grilamid Nylon 12 is magic material. In the Lifedge iPad case it has a very important function: to form the perfect watertight seal. It's very strong, practically indestructible and dimensionally stable so every case is 100% dry, no variation. It's also really easy to handle too, so opening and closing the case is a joy, not a struggle. Anti-slip bumps on the edges mean you can rest the case anywhere and it won't move.
