One-stop kit for replacing broken tent poles
The OZtrail Fibreglass Tent Pole Kit is a pack of all the common parts needed to repair a broken fibreglass tent pole. Each kit includes four pole sections, three metres of heavy-duty shock cord, a pole tip and a joiner. There is a corresponding size for every one of our tent styles.
How to fit/replace a shock cord in the pole:
Cut at around 75% of the length of pole(s) required. Specific cut size may depend on the tent model.
Follow these steps to replace the cord:
- Feed cord through all the poles
- Tie knot in cord at one end
- Pull cord tight on other end (not too hard that it will break, and not too soft that the cord won’t hold the poles together)
- Hold onto cord, then cut the excess off
- Tie knot in this end
