The Reel
The TiCA Tempest TT8000 Spinning Reel is designed to deal with large predators like Kingfish and marauding Snapper. An instant anti-reverse roller bearing in the rotor, anti-twist line roller and a huge waterproof carbon drag, keep the braid under control while fighting your fish. The high speed 5.2:1 retrieve ratio will recover 1.13m per handle turn. This reel is supplied with an oversized hypalon comfort grip, you will exert effortlessly and feel comfortable to land and enjoy your fishing.

It uses a multi purpose 2.1m blank, made with composite graphite construction and features an aluminium detachable butt, with spigot joints through the rest of the blank to retain a smooth curve in this powerful rod. The titanium oxide double-foot guides will cope with braid and the contoured EVA grips have finger grooves for comfort when the battle is underway. This rod will be equally capable when trolling lures or casting poppers with a TiCA Talisman spinning reel.
