The HT-100 drag washers are housed in a fully sealed spool to give the stopping power needed for big saltwater fish. A Full Metal Body and sideplate keep the CNC Gear System in precise alignment under heavy loads. Now with an improved line clip design to secure heavier line and leader in place to minimise loose line and tangles.
The Rod
Feel the power of an unbreakable rod with the Ugly Stik Black Tiger Heavy Duty Spin Rod. This spinning rod is made on powerful, fast taper, Ugly Stik blanks for line classes up to a brutal 50lbs. It also features blank-through-handle construction for added strength and sensitivity, Fuji guides and components making it ideal for super braid lines, over and underbound wrapped guides for durability and longevity. Plus it's fully coated with epoxy for extra protection against UV rays.
