The PENN Battle III 4000 Spinning Reel delivers the performance, strength and durability you have come to expect from a legend like PENN. Using state of the art CNC Gear technology, gears are cut to exact tolerances to provide precision and resilience. The full metal body and sideplate have nearly bulletproof durability and keep gears aligned under the heaviest loads. This fantastic reel also features an HT-100 carbon fibre drag system to deliver long term stopping power, sustained pressure ranging and killer heat dispersion for the most punishing runs. The PENN Battle III 4000 Spinning Reel will have you ready for gruelling battles in the water.
The Rod
The new PENN Regiment Black Ops II SP762M Spinning Rod features technique specific action, improved taper and a slick paint job. Ideal for soft baiting or jigging, this rod is built on PENN's SLS Construction graphite blank to deliver the sensitivity required for technical inshore fishing along with serious pulling power. Using proven Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts that feature a tapered frame to decrease wind knots and braid wrap. Lightweight Fuji graphite reel seats feature across the range to provide superior sensitivity and strength.
