The Reel
The PENN Surfblaster III 7000 Longcast Spinning Reel will get you geared up for your next fishing adventure. This fantastic long-cast reel is equipped with the best features, making it as durable and strong as possible. Specially designed for the fanatic surfcasting anglers: thanks to the forged and machined aluminium conical-shaped shallow spool combined with the extra slow oscillation system, the Surfblaster III will let you cast farther than ever before. The 6 sealed stainless steel ball-bearing system including an instant anti-reverse bearing, results in a perfectly smooth retrieve, even under pressure. The PENN Surfblaster III 7000 Longcast Spinning Reel comes with both a shallow and a deep spool making it easy to switch between braid and mono.

The Rod
The PENN Squadron II Euro Spinning Surf Rod packs the right combination of features to deliver great performance and value for money. The perfect blend of modern carbon blank and quality guides to provide plenty of power, responsiveness, durability, and achieve long distance casting. A powerful blank in combination with a great bite detection makes this hard to beat.

NOTE:The sections fit together with a friction fit and will not initially butt up hard against each other. This allows for the normal and expected wear of the graphite sections with initial use.
