The Reel
Built for those who expect a reel that can handle the stress of hard-pulling fish, the new PENN Slammer IV 3500 Spinning Reel is packed with more features than ever before. Building off PENN's proven IPX6 sealed body and spool, the drag system is redesigned to not only be better sealed, but also offer a wider range of usable drag, all whilst being bearing supported for extra smoothness. Adding PENN's all brass CNC gear technology, 8+1 stainless steel bearing system and Hydrophobic Line Roller Bearing has made the Slammer IV the ultimate workhorse reel.
The Rod
The new PENN Regiment Black Ops II SP762M Spinning Rod features technique specific action, improved taper and a slick paint job. Ideal for soft baiting or jigging, this rod is built on PENN's SLS Construction graphite blank to deliver the sensitivity required for technical inshore fishing along with serious pulling power. Using proven Fuji K guides with Alconite inserts that feature a tapered frame to decrease wind knots and braid wrap. Lightweight Fuji graphite reel seats feature across the range to provide superior sensitivity and strength.
