The Martyr Anodes Aluminium Anode Kit is a sacrificial anode kit used to protect your boat's metal structures from corroding. It works by oxidising more quickly than the metal it's protecting, being consumed completely before the other metal reacts with the electrolytes. For use in salt and brackish water. Premium aluminium performs better, protects longer than Zinc.

Martyr Anodes are pressure die cast and manufactured to strict quality standards through an ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Every anode is UPC barcoded. In addition, each alloy is guaranteed to be manufactured to the latest US Military Alloy Specification and is chemically tested regularly to ensure consistency.

Sacrificial anodes do not require a power supply to function, and no special maintenance is required either. The only care that needs to be taken is to replace them according to the times correctly indicated in the cathodic protection plan.
