High-performance antenna
The GME AE312B AM/FM Ground Dependent Antenna belongs to the AE312 range of Marine Antennas, which are "ground plane dependent" in design. They utilise Stainless Steel components to ensure long life and high performance in the marine environment.
Being 'Ground Plane Dependent', the antenna base needs to be in contact with a metallic surface (Ground Plane), such as steel or aluminium of approximately 0.5 square metres n area or greater.
