Specifically designed for longline fishing, the Holiday Longline Clip with Swivel allows you to use the running trace method instead of tying traces directly to your mainline. Each clip runs smoothly along the trace until it reaches a stopper. This means fish can run with the bait after picking up the baited hook until the clip strikes a stopper, at which point the clip sets the hook. This action actively sets the hook into the fish's mouth, increasing the chances of a successful hookup. Each clip comes with a barrel swivel to help reduce line twist and tangles.
