The Road Chef 2.0 Digital Electric Oven takes on-the-road cooking to a whole new level. Using the traditional look and feel of the Road Chef and combining it with the latest technologies, the 2.0 offers a smarter, quicker and tastier way to cook. It features an innovative digital interface which enables easy adjusting of cooking time and temperature with just a simple push of a button. An easy-to-read display provides a countdown timer to let you know when your meals are ready.
With the rapid development of 12V systems in 4WDs, caravans, trucks and other vehicles through touchscreen technologies, the Road Chef 2.0 Digital Electric Oven meets and exceeds the demands of users worldwide. The Road Chef 2.0 now features three operating modes - cooking, standby and power-up/preheat mode. Now, you have more ways to make tasty food!
Cooking mode is when the Road Chef 2.0 Digital Electric Oven is on and the timer counts down. The oven automatically enters standby mode when the counter ends. After turning it back on, it remembers the last setting and re-sets to that combination. Finally, the Power-Up mode allows the oven to enter a pre-set preheat mode for easier cooking management. To activate this mode, simply turn the oven off by long pressing the power button or disconnecting from the power source. The next time you turn on the oven, it enters the initial 10-second Power-Up mode and then automatically goes into pre-heat mode of 180 C for 20 minutes, making it easier and faster to cook delicious meals.
The Road Chef 2.0 Digital Electric Oven is also capable of reaching higher temperatures compared to its predecessor - up to 195 C. That means you get to cook a wider variety of delicious meals.
