.All said and done the Swazi Molesworth Jacket is one very functional jacket. Made from 320gsm AEGIS Windshield fleece, it has a low cut back, high collar and deep secure pockets. With its modern, stylistic cut, you can wear it to town or on an outdoor escapade.
AEGIS layer
Developed by Swazi and tested in New Zealand's mountain environment, AEGIS is a quantum leap forward in providing comfort and safety in outdoor clothing. It is a windproof, waterproof and breathable membrane made from PTFE . Plus it resists water - to the point it can't get wet!
There's no point in wearing something that keeps out the rain if it keeps in the sweat - you still get wet! Although the unique AEGIS fabric never gets wet. it lets moisture (or sweat) out - so you don't get soaked in sweat.
Windshield
Windshield outer layers provide all round wind protection with extra warmth and comfort for when it comes in hard and cold. Swazi's windshield outer layer combines all of the technical features of AEGIS with the added comfort of fleece.
