The Nikwax Down Wash Direct Cleaner and Down Proof Waterproofer Duo Pack is all you need to care and clean for your down clothing and sleeping bags. When down gets wet and dirty, it no longer keeps you warm. Caring for your gear with this down wash and waterproofer bundle from Nikwax will keep them clean and waterproof, so you stay dry and warm.
How to use:
- Prep and Clean: Clean detergent drawer to remove any residue. Place garments in machine. Add Down Wash.Direct to washing machine, then wash garment according to care label. Do NOT use household detergents as they will compromise the down.
- Waterproof: When the wash cycle with Down Wash.Direct is finished, leave items in washing machine. Shake Down Proof well, add to machine and wash according to care label. (second wash cycle) Do NOT combine Down Wash Direct and Down Proof together in the same load.
- Dry: Dry according to label (dryer or air dry). Slow spin dry multiple times for best results.
- Fluff: Gently rub jacket to remove any clumps that have formed.
