Big game's ultimate trolling hook
The Owner Jobu Rustop Big Game Hook is big game fishing's ultimate trolling hook. High carbon steel as opposed to stainless steel allows Owner to make some of the strongest hooks by diameter, to achieve the same strength as other brands' thicker diameter hooks. This is more important because it allows your bait to move more naturally in the water, due to a lighter hook. It makes for better hook sets too!
The Trolling Jobu includes Rustop attached to its shank which acts as a sacrificial anode to attract corrosion away from the hook. Rustop extends the life of high carbon hooks, allowing anglers to troll for days with the same hook. When pitting becomes evident on the Rustop, simply replace it. Many Marlin fatalities occur when a fish is hooked and lost but a stainless hook remains lodged in the fish, never corroding out. Trolling Jobus eventually rust out, reducing fish mortality rates. Features of this hook include vacuum tin finish for improved corrosion resistance and Owner's patented Cutting Point that never needs to be sharpened.
