Light yet surprisingly strong

The G.Loomis GLX Classic Trout Spinning Rod is specially designed for small freshwater species, but as anglers will, they've discovered a multitude of different applications for this light-duty rod including fishing with small lures and soft plastics, Shad fishing with darts and tiny jigs, Seatrout fishing on the flats with small grubs and jigs. This rod has a fast taper with light power rating. It's designed to protect light line, but don't let that fool you. It's remarkably strong and can handle surprisingly big fish.
