An essential tool for connecting fly lines and taper leaders.
By splicing the tapered leader to the fly line and using the included pipe to make a nail knot, you can create a small bundle that does not easily get tangled in the top guide.
When pulling out the line from the top guide or hauling in the fish, fishing becomes more comfortable just by eliminating the interference with the guide of the tying part.
A small magnet attached to the tip of the nail knot pipe is convenient for taking out small flies from the compartment box, and can also be used to temporarily hold flies when changing flies.
- When splicing the tapered leader to the core of the fly line, be careful not to warp the needle. It will lead to needle breakage and damage.
- If the nail knot pipe is crushed, it may not be possible to store the splice needle.
- After use, push the nail knot pipe all the way to the base of the splice needle, and be careful not to drop it and lose it.
