The Daiwa 22 Saltiga 15H Overhead Reel takes the already formidable Saltiga 15H and advances it to a whole new level! New features and a well-thought-out design make this the ultimate compact star drag overhead reel. Ideally suited to a wide variety of light jigging situations, the compact size and new thumb rest frame design make the reel comfortable to palm over many hours of repetitive jigging.

This enhanced version of the Saltiga 15 is equipped with Hyperdrive Design to maximise performance under heavy loads. The Hyperdrive Digigear increases gear strength and efficiency making it incredibly easy to wind. The Hyper Armed housing and Hyper Tough clutch combine for a solid feel, improving confidence with every use. The 13kg of ATD drag with click mechanism provides enough stopping power for taming even those large, hard-pulling, reef-dwelling fish.

ATD Drag
Daiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.

MagSealed Bearings
MagSeal protection is no longer just for the main shaft and rotor of a reel with MagSealed Ball Bearings providing ultimate protection for the most at-risk location such as the engine side plate and line roller.
