The Daiwa RX LT 4000 Light Tackle Spinning Reel is incorporated with Daiwa's LT (Light and Tough) concept technology for uncompromised power. This beast of a reel comes in a more compact, sleeker design without removing material and strength from key areas. It's packed full of features like Daiwa's tough digigear design, an aluminium machine spool, ATD drag, infinite anti-reverse and more! All these make the Daiwa RX LT 4000 Light Tackle Spinning Reel a winner in the water.
ATD-Drag
Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.
LT Concept
LT (Light Tough) technology is based four key elements - lighter, tougher, more drag, and more bearings. Featuring a new compact body design and Tough Digigear LT reels introduce a new level of lightness and toughness to spin reel design.

- Tough digigear: digitally designed, machine cut gearing system that ensures ultimate gear precision, rotational smoothness, and strength
- Twist buster: tapered line roller to reduce line twisting
