It's a braided spectra fibre line with a hollow centre which contracts and tightens, allowing anything inside to be drafted by the fibres. Made with 16 fibres for superior connection strength and EBT for incredible abrasion resistance and strength to diameter ratio, this line is designed to offer knotless connections when using fluorocarbon leaders.
Traditionally, round spectra fibre lines are knotted together to create a strong line. But a knot is always a weak point as it only gives you around 80 to 90 percent of breaking strength. If a monofilament is inserted into the Power Pro Hollow Ace, you're going to get 100% connection so it will break at the strength of the line's rating, letting you catch Marlin, giant Tuna and other big fish. Its hi-vis yellow colour makes the line easier to see especially at night. And with the addition of fluorocarbon leaders, you can create a line that's invisible to line-shy fish.
