Super strong and versatile
The West System 413 Microfibre Blend High Density Epoxy Filler is a general-purpose thickening agent used in conjunction with epoxy resin systems to create versatile, high-strength adhesives. It’s great for structural applications such as wood bonding, filleting and hardware bonding. 413 also contains microfibres to reduce cracks in the glue joint.
When used with epoxy, West System 413 Microfibre Blend High Density Epoxy Filler exhibits incredible gap-filling qualities while retaining excellent wetting and penetrating capabilities. As a blended filler, 413 offers an enhanced degree of thixotropy and substantially improved spreading and working properties.
How to use with West System Epoxy:
Mix the West System resin and hardener first as per instructions, taking great care to mix thoroughly, then gradually stir in the filler to thicken the mixture as desired. A mix ratio of 1L resin, 200ml hardener and 1200ml West System 413 Microfibre Blend High Density Epoxy Filler produces a suitable consistency for adhesive. A reduced concentration of 413 would be suitable for sealing porosity in timber and fibreglass surfaces.
West System 413 Microfibre Blend High Density Epoxy Filler Features:
- Blended microfibre glue thickening agent
- Excellent resin extension and gap filling properties
- Microfibres reduce crack propagation in glue joint
- General purpose - great for a wide range of applications
- Excellent wetting and penetrating capabilities
