The Sikasil General Purpose Silicone Sealant is a one-component neutral curing silicone sealant suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. It is used as a joint sealant between a variety of substrates. It has excellent UV and ageing properties, and is used for all common sealing jobs, both inside and outside, including:
- Roofing and flashings
- Around windows
- Control joints
- Around vents and openings
- Sealing cavities
- Bathrooms and kitchens
And what's more Sikasil General Purpose Silicone Sealant is highly flexible and has good adhesion to a wide variety of common building surfaces including:
- Anodised and powder coated aluminium
- Concrete, bricks and terracotta
- Painted surfaces
- Glazed concrete, ceramic, and clay roofing tiles
- Sheet metal, flashings, precoated metal roofing, copper, brass,
and galvanised metal
- Glass, Porcelain whiteware and fittings
