The new Diamondback Aeroflex Freshwater Fly Rod is designed to meet the performance and durability challenges of the tactical nymph rod market. This rod will achieve smooth and accurate casts at common fishing distance, but has a hidden reserve power revealed when pushing a long cast into the wind or fighting a bigger fish. Oversized Sea-Guide titanium frame stripper guides start at the base of the butt, with the guide located on top of the ferrule overlap for increased strength and reserve power.
The 9' 5WT is a great all-rounder, perfect for indicator nymphing, throwing big dry flies and dry-dropper combos or small streamers. Has the power to handle heavier lines and flies. If you're a traditional fly caster looking for an all-rounder rod, this is it!
