The Reel
The Daiwa 24 TD Black MQ 2500D Spinning Reel now sports both of Daiwa's crowning achievements in spinning reel design. A one-piece Monocoque (MQ) Body design focusing on the body of the reel to deliver strength and power, and Daiwa's new Airdrive Design which redesigns the rotor, bail arm and other components to focus on operability and response. Monocoque (MQ)
MQ allows for the use of larger gears for enhanced power, precision and longevity, with its single piece construction increasing body strength and rigidity and eliminating unwanted water and grime ingress into the reel. MQ body also allows a larger diameter drive gear to be installed in the same size body, further increasing gear durability and power.

Airdrive Design
Airdrive Design is the pursuit of ultimate response, a new lightweight rotor design and bail arm reduces the rotational mass which is required to spin around the spool with each rotation of the handle. This delivers lower start-up inertia and effortless reeling.

Zaion V Rotor
A new generation of Daiwa's resin and carbon material. Zaion V material is both strong and incredibly lightweight.

Air Rotor
Lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that's come before, 'Air Rotor' delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function, and the ultimate line roller support. Made from Zaion and featuring a redesigned arch that disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing, the design is further enhanced with a hollowed out construction reducing weight, while increasing reel sensitivity and rotational balance

ATD-Drag
Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.

Magsealed-Body

HVF NanoPlus
Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, NanoPlus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.

X45X Full Shield
X45X Full Shield Technology is 25% more efficient than standard X45 technology. With increased torsional stiffness, blanks armed with X45X resist blank twist during casting and jigging.
