the new Daiwa TD Commander 722MLXS Spinning Rod is designed specifically to provide you with a high performance rod for light tackle and inshore casting applications. The blank of the TD Commander is dressed in classic green and incorporates a new graphite material and combines HVF Nanoplus, X45, and 3DX technology to achieve incredible wall thinness, lightness, and sensitivity, as well as a high level of power. The end result is a blank that possesses massive hoop strength, whilst eliminating twist and distortion under load. It also features Daiwa's Air Sensor reel seat which is constructed from an ultralight weight SVC carbon material, a guide train design comprised of Titanium Fuji SiC guides, and a stylish blend of cork and EVA grips with custom componentry.

HVF Nanoplus
Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.

3DX
3DX supports the lower power section of the rod by knitting densely packed carbon fibres in 3 directions to achieve a six wrap rectangular weave. Power through the blank under load is distributed evenly in all directions allowing it to maintain its profile and form. This process confines the rod's power to the lower section of the rod, increases power, eliminates blank twist and collapse, all the while reducing angler fatigue.

X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.

V-Joint
Bias construction within the ferrule allows it to flex with the rod, eliminating the weak, unbending spot caused by ordinary ferrules. The result of this revolutionary technology is a multi-piece blank that matches the performance of one-piece blanks in flex, power and responsiveness.

Air Sensor Reel Seat
Daiwa's carbon fibre reel seat that's minimal in weight, yet high in strength and sensitivity. Daiwa's ultimate high end, high performance reel seat.
