The West System 406 Colloidal Silica Epoxy Filler is designed for use with epoxy systems as a thickening additive, allowing you to control the viscosity of your epoxy. This super-strong filler prevents runoff in vertical and overhead joints. It creates a smooth mixture, ideal for general epoxy bonding and filleting.

The West System 406 Colloidal Silica Epoxy Filler is also West System’s most versatile epoxy filler. Often combined with other fillers, 406 improves the strength, abrasion resistance and consistency of epoxy fairing compounds. The result is a tougher, smoother surface.

Handling Precautions: Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing dust. Wash after handling. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at points of operation where dust can be generated. Avoid using compressed air. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Metal parts of mixing and processing equipment should be earthed/grounded.
