Protect metal structures from corroding
The Tecnoseal 01207 Zinc Trim Tab Anode is a sacrificial anode used to protect metal structures from corroding. It works by oxidising more quickly than the metal it's protecting, being consumed completely before the other metal reacts with the electrolytes.
Sacrificial anodes do not require a power supply to function, and no special maintenance is required either. The only care that needs to be taken is to replace them according to the times correctly indicated in the cathodic protection plan.
