The Outboard Steering Cylinder
The SeaStar Front Mount Outboard Steering Cylinder is a top performing pivoting cylinder from SeaStar that offers the incredible steering ease and reliability that puts SeaStar cylinders way ahead of the competition. Throughout the steering arc there simply isn't anything that feels better to drive! The simplicity in design with integral bleeders and few components make installation a snap. Less moving parts and improved seals boost durability and reduce maintenance.

The Front Mount Helm
SeaStar Front Mount Helms allow you to install all of the safety, reliability and comfort of hydraulic steering onto your boats rated to a MAXIMUM of 150 HP (total). Combine this with a superior design rigid ISO quality control and the finest materials and precision manufacturing.

The Steering Fluid
The SeaStar Hydraulic Steering Fluid is formulated to provide the best performance for your SeaStar/BayStar steering system. A perfect blend of viscosity stabilisers, anti-wear agents and corrosion inhibitors will ensure maximum steering life performance.

The Hose and Fittings
For use in conjunction with outboards, stern drives and inboards with 1.7, 2.0 and 2.4 helms, the SeaStar 50ft Standard Outboard Hose features 70 bar (1000 psi) maximum working pressure and high abrasion resistance with unbelievable flexibility and strength thanks to its reinforced PVC construction. The large internal diameter makes the steering lighter and more responsive. The 3⁄8" tube thread swage fittings on each end eliminate the chance of connector failure. The cylinder end swage fittings have rubber boots fitted to prevent kinking and protect the connectors from the environment.

The BayStar Adjustable Outboard Hose Kit provides the flexibility that enables you to make whatever hydraulic hose length required without the need for specialist swaged fittings. The two unique BayStar Reusable Brass Hose Fitting allows you to simply cut the hose to length and insert the brass connectors easily.

The BayStar Rubber Boot is used for the BayStar Adjustable Outboard Hose kit for your outboard steering system.
