Dual shank anchoring
Twin slots enable use in all seabed types. Using the rock slot in rocky or coral sea floors means that if the anchor becomes fouled, the shackle can slide forward and simply lift forward, removing the need to use a trip line or change anchors.

Choosing the Correct D-Shackle Size:
When buying an anchor for your boat, you will need the appropriate D-Shackle to connect the rope and chain to your anchor. The recommended D-Shackle size for connecting your anchor to your chain is to get the next size up from your chain size. So if the chain is 6mm then an 8mm D-shackle is recommended. If it's a 7mm chain then an 8mm or 9mm D-shackle is recommended, etc.
