Fast setting self righting anchor
Its unique shank profile and ballasted tip make the Lewmar Galvanised Delta Anchor self-launching. The low centre of gravity and self-righting geometry ensure that the Delta anchor will set immediately.
Self-Launching
The Lewmar Galvanised Delta Anchor is a self-launching anchor. That means the anchor will fall away from the bow under its own weight when the chain is paid out.
Consistent and Reliable Performance
The Lewmar Galvanised Delta Anchor has Lloyd's Register Type Approval as a High Holding Power anchor and is specified as the primary anchor used by numerous National Lifeboat organisations. Lloyd's Test Certification is available for individual Delta anchors by arrangement.
Lewmar Galvanised Delta Anchor Features:
- Manufactured from high grade manganese steel
- Self launching
- Lloyd's Register Type Approval
- Guaranteed for life against Breakage
- Lloyd's Test Certification available
Lewmar Galvanised Delta Anchor Specifications:
- Anchor Weight: 14 lbs
- Recommended Chain Size: 1/4 in
Please note that D-shackles are not supplied with this anchor. Choose from our wide range of D-Shackles here.
Choosing the Correct D-Shackle Size:
When buying an anchor for your boat, you will need the appropriate D-Shackle to connect the rope and chain to your anchor. The recommended D-Shackle size for connecting your anchor to your chain is to get the next size up from your chain size. So if the chain is 6mm then an 8mm D-shackle is recommended. If it's a 7mm chain then an 8mm or 9mm D-shackle is recommended, etc.
