This Galvanised Fixed Reef Anchor is designed for holding on rock and reefs and perfect for smaller crafts like dinghies, canoes and kayaks. With its small prongs, this anchor penetrates and works best in bottoms with heavy growth of weeds or grass. It hooks readily in rocky bottoms and the prongs can be reshaped to pull out easily.

Choosing the Correct D-Shackle Size:
When buying an anchor for your boat, you will need the appropriate D-Shackle to connect the rope and chain to your anchor. The recommended D-Shackle size for connecting your anchor to your chain is to get the next size up from your chain size. So if the chain is 6mm then an 8mm D-shackle is recommended. If it's a 7mm chain then an 8mm or 9mm D-shackle is recommended, etc.
